Mr. Cathcart has over 27 years of environmental geology / consulting experience with expertise in construction and remediation quality assurance, Phase I and Phase II Site Assessments, underground storage tank removals, State of California remediation grants (OSCA / OSCF), hydrology, and soil and groundwater investigations and remediation. He has completed and managed over 600 Phase I Site Assessments and Property Condition Assessments on residential, commercial, industrial, undeveloped and retail properties throughout the United States. He has also managed over 200 underground storage tank removals, soil and groundwater characterization studies, and soil and groundwater remediation projects. Mr. Cathcart has over 28 years of college-level teaching experience and extensive research experience and publications encompassing isotope geochemistry, carbonate diagenesis, sedimentology, hydrogeology, oceanography, geogenic metals, contamination fate and transport modeling and human health risk assessments. He is recognized by the State of California Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors as a Subject Matter Expert and has been active in the formulation of the California Specific Geological Examination for Professional Geologist licensure in the State of California.
